Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Vajjika Foods – Rediscover the Taste of Tradition. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we offer a 30-day return policy. You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be in the same condition as when you received it;
  • Be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging;
  • Include all original tags, seals, and labels; and
  • Be accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please contact us at vajjikafoods@gmail.com with your order details and reason for return. Once your request is approved, we will provide you with:

  • A return shipping label; and
  • Detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.

Damages and Issues

We take great care in packaging and delivering our products. However, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at vajjikafoods@gmail.com if your item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong product.

We will promptly review the issue and work with you to make it right — whether through a replacement, exchange, or refund, as appropriate.

 Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Please note that certain items sold by Vajjika Foods – Rediscover the Taste of Tradition are not eligible for return. This includes perishable food products such as pickles, sauces, and other edible goods, as well as custom or personalized orders. Items that may pose health or safety risks, such as certain packaged food products, are also non-returnable. Additionally, sale items and gift cards cannot be returned.  Exchanges

To exchange an item, the quickest way to ensure you receive the product you want is to return your original item for approval. Once your return is accepted, you can place a separate order for the replacement item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without providing justification. To be eligible for a return under this policy, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unopened, unused, with all original packaging and labels intact. You will also need to provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

After we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
